  11. I just found this group, excuse me if this is a repeat question.

  13. Help, I can NOT access my service provider (Delta College) directly or
  14. through the state educational network. I just got a Cardinal 288i and
  15. it will not negotiate a connection with Delta directly. If I go
  16. through the state educational network I lose the connection repeatedly
  17. usually in less than 10 min. I borrowed a inexpensive 288 modem with
  18. the AT&T chipset and it works fine.

  20. Cardinal tech support suggested several init strings none of which
  21. work. Delta says they have a lot of problems with people using the
  22. Rockwell chip set and suggest people stay away from them. I do not
  23. know what modems I am connecting to. I am using Win95 with the modem
  24. set up on comm3 IRQ5. System is 486-120 16meg. The problem occurs in
  25. both Win95 and W4WG3.11.
